Job Summary:We are seeking a passionate and talented Line Cook to join our teams. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food experiences to our valued customers. We are a fun and energetic taproom, deeply rooted in the craft industry, and we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about being part of our team. Excellent communication skills and a reliable work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, following our recipes and guidelines.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared with precision and attention to detail, maintaining consistent taste, texture, and presentation.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during busy periods.
Assist in developing and refining menu items, incorporating creativity and a passion for the craft industry.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying the kitchen manager or supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.
Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries, ensuring the quality and accuracy of received items.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
Uphold excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with front-of-house staff and ensure smooth service.
Embrace opportunities for growth and development, participating in training programs and actively seeking to expand culinary knowledge.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
Passion for the craft industry, with a genuine interest in food and beverage trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality and presentation of dishes.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic work area.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.
A culinary degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus.
