Job summary

The Client Services Clinician reflects the mission, vision and values of Northwestern Memorial. They adhere to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and comply with all relevant policies procedures guidelines and other regulatory accreditation standards.

Responsibilities include taking patient vitals greeting incoming patients acting as a liaison between the program and other hospital departments physician offices escorting patients throughout the day to meet their needs trouble shooting problem solving care delivery issues notifying clinic leadership appropriate department physician office of deviations in the patient's schedule meeting needs of patients who come through the program assuring that patient arrive promptly at scheduled appointments making adjustments to the patient's schedule to eliminate or minimize delays providing each department physicians administrators with necessary requisitions needed collecting appropriate medical reports billing statements collecting tracking medical information for internist prior to scheduled exit conference pre ordering meals snacks for patients as requested setting up rooms prior to arrival of patients cleaning up after last patient exits assembling patient exit packet for internist prior to scheduled exit conference or debrief educating patients with protocol testing details information collaborating with other clinical staff as appropriate may administer shots injections performing other duties assigned qualifications include high school diploma GED LPN licensure in Illinois EMT licensure in Illinois current certification as certified medical assistant registered medical assistant national certified medical assistant certified clinical medical assistant nationally registered certified medical assistant American Heart Association accredited basic life support BLS CPR certification zero two years experience customer service related field proficiency use office equipment strong computer skills preferred bachelor degree one two years ambulatory care experience experience electronic medial record.
