We are seeking a upbeat and enthusiastic individual for a position on our Front Desk and Housekeeping Team This person will work with other high-quality professionals and will be primarily responsible for providing exceptional guest service.

This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a little extra time during the week, with part-time, weekend shifts.

Compensation: $13 - $14 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.
Monitor guest accounts and post charges.
Register guests, assign them a guest room, compute bills, and collect payments from guests.
Make and confirm reservations over the phone and online.
Answer the phone and operate the telephone switchboard.
Maintain responsibility for safekeeping and issuance of keys.
Greet and welcome all guests in a professional and hospitable manner.
Clean guest rooms and stock with appropriate supplies in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations. To include but not limited to: picking up trash, changing linen and making the bed, cleaning entire bathroom, sweeping and dusting guest room, cleaning the windows and hallways, updating room literature.
Retrieve, stock, restock and store the housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping, safety and security procedures and regulations.
Respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
Report any missing articles, damage or mechanical problems to the Senior Housekeeper and turning articles left in room.
Report maintenance related issues to inspectors, front desk, and maintenance.
Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor on work priorities and provide assistant when needed.
Assist with weekly/monthly inventories.
Open line of communication to maintain and improve quality of hotel.

Qualifications:

Customer-oriented and a "go-getter" attitude.
Ability to lift 30 lbs, Ability to stand for eight hours.
Practice and observe all safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail, and efficiency of work.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
