    We are seeking a upbeat and enthusiastic individual for a position on our Front Desk and Housekeeping Team This person will work with other high-quality professionals and will be primarily responsible for providing exceptional guest service.

    This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a little extra time during the week, with part-time, weekend shifts.

    Compensation: $13 - $14 per hour depending on experience

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.
    • Monitor guest accounts and post charges.
    • Register guests, assign them a guest room, compute bills, and collect payments from guests.
    • Make and confirm reservations over the phone and online.
    • Answer the phone and operate the telephone switchboard.
    • Maintain responsibility for safekeeping and issuance of keys.
    • Greet and welcome all guests in a professional and hospitable manner.
    • Clean guest rooms and stock with appropriate supplies in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations. To include but not limited to: picking up trash, changing linen and making the bed, cleaning entire bathroom, sweeping and dusting guest room, cleaning the windows and hallways, updating room literature.
    • Retrieve, stock, restock and store the housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping, safety and security procedures and regulations.
    • Respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Report any missing articles, damage or mechanical problems to the Senior Housekeeper and turning articles left in room.
    • Report maintenance related issues to inspectors, front desk, and maintenance.
    • Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor on work priorities and provide assistant when needed.
    • Assist with weekly/monthly inventories.
    • Open line of communication to maintain and improve quality of hotel.

    Qualifications:

    • Customer-oriented and a "go-getter" attitude.
    • Ability to lift 30 lbs, Ability to stand for eight hours.
    • Practice and observe all safety procedures.
    • Strong attention to detail, and efficiency of work.
    • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
    • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
