    Job Description
    This position reports to the Head Swimming & Diving Coach, and is responsible for assisting in all aspects of coaching, planning, directing and developing sport and position specific skills of student-athletes in the sport program, including:


    • Assist in the instruction, management and teaching of student-athletes in assigned positional area.
    • Assist in the development and execution of meet/practice plans, coaching strategies and teaching methods.
    • Assist coaching staff members with all recruiting and administrative responsibilities.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
    In order to receive the full stipend, the position must work a minimum of 20 hours a week. Evening and weekends will be required.

    Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required from an Accredited College or University. Applicants must be admitted to the Coaching Education (campus based) graduate program with The Gladys W. and David H.

    Patton College of Education at Ohio University, enroll in a minimum of 12 graduate credit hours per semester (fall and spring semester) as a full-time student, and maintain a required within that particular college.

    Preferred Qualifications Swimming & diving background as a player or coach at the collegiate level. Department ICA-Swimming
