The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs a variety of specialized invasive and non-invasive diagnostic radiologic procedures in collaboration with the physicians or advanced practitioners and the radiology team.
Responsibilities
- The Interventional Radiology Technologist operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain optimal quality radiographs for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.
