    Description

    Primacy Counseling is in search of Christian counselors for 1099 contracted positions with opportunities for both in-person and/or virtual counseling in Flower Mound, TX, beginning July 2024.

    I'm Efrain Rodriguez, LPC. I have been licensed for 25 years, trained in EFT, NET, EMDR and FLASH. My wife and I have been married for 32 amazing years and have 3 adult children. I also serve as Director of Soul Care in our home church, Benchmark Bible in Corinth, TX. While I've had over 25 years in private practice, developing standards and systems for both client care and practice management, I've been blessed to also experience the counseling field from behind the administrator's desk. At the end of the day, every colleague I've ever known has shared the same desires: to put in a good day's work and to receive just compensation for that work. For this reason, I am excited to offer a different and disruptive model of group practice. Rather than the traditional 60/40 or 65/35 split, I'm launching this group practice with an 80/20 split. My desire is to create a supportive environment for not just the clients we care for, but for the clinicians as well.

    In addition to a unique business model, Primacy Counseling offers a distinctly Christian focus. The name, "Primacy," refers to the place that Christ holds in my life personally as well as to the hope that exists for true healing. Whether as LPCs or biblical counselors, we seek to help clients heal both horizontally in their relationships with others as well as vertically in their relationship with God.

    Is this opportunity right for you? Preference will be given to clinicians that are able to transition their existing clients to Primacy Counseling (and therefore have no existing non-compete clauses with any current contracts). Preference will also be given to counselors with training in trauma techniques and therapies such as EMDR, FLASH, Brain-Spotting, DBT, etc., or with training as biblical counselors via ABC certification.

    Primacy Counseling accepts insurance (for professional clinicians) as well as private pay (for professional or Biblical/Christian counselors).

    Responsibilities

    Provide counseling in the office and remotely as contractor.

    Qualifications

    Master's degree in mental health, license as a Professional Counselor, training in EMDR, FLASH Technique, DBT, or Biblical counseling is highly desirable.
