    Job Description:
    Structural Engineer (Cold Formed Steel Structures)

    We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team.

    The primary responsibility of this position is to design and detail cold formed steel structures, including non-load bearing curtain walls and load bearing applications.

    While experience in cold formed steel design is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong technical background and a desire to learn.


    Responsibilities:
    Design and detail cold formed steel structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

    Lead projects from conception to completion with minimal supervision, including producing drawings and calculation packages.

    Collaborate with junior engineers and drafters to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project deliverables.

    Participate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination meetings and assist in resolving design conflicts.

    Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members, including training and mentoring.

    Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and utilize design software such as SAP for structural analysis.

    Address all issues during the Construction Administration (CA) phase to ensure successful project implementation.


    Desired Qualifications and Duties:
    Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.

    Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license by examination is a plus.

    5 to 10 years of experience in structural design, with a focus on steel structures.

    Proficiency in 2D and 3D drawing production using Revit.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to lead projects independently and make informed decisions.

    Experience or familiarity with cold formed steel framing design and detailing is advantageous.

    Authorization to work in the US long-term without visa sponsorship.

    Strong technical background and ability to research and find solutions to complex technical challenges.

    $90, $105,000.00 per year
