    Our dedicated therapists are committed to restoring patients to their optimal functional level, enabling them to safely remain in their homes and communities. We prioritize the quality of our service, which begins with the superior qualifications of each member of our staff.

    The Position: Physical Therapist

    The Physical Therapist provides physician-prescribed Physical therapy to enhance or minimize residual physical disabilities of the patient. They maintain ongoing communication with Physicians, healthcare teams, and other individuals as needed regarding aspects of care and patient status. They collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and revise the plan of care as necessary.

    The Physical Therapist communicates with Americare Therapy Services regarding issues related to Rehab services and indicated patient care.

    What We Offer:

    Position Qualifications:

    • Two (2) years of experience preferred
    • Licensed by The State of New York as a Physical Therapist
    • Graduate from a physical therapist curriculum approved by one of the following: The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) or successor organizations of CAPTE
    • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment

    Locations:

    Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island

    Estimated salary range based on location and title is approximately $75,000 - $120,000 per year.
