Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector has an exciting opening for a DevOps Principal Software Engineer to join the Global Surveillance Division. This position requires a Secret clearance, and is located in Melbourne, Florida.
The DevOps Principal Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing application builds, releases, deployments, and configurations. They will work with internal business partners to gather requirements, prototype, and architect complex solutions supporting building and test plan execution. Additionally, they will be responsible for performing quality reviews, triaging and fixing operational issues, and assisting with integration, troubleshooting, and testing software changes.
The successful candidate will have hands-on technical experience, a can-do approach towards environment automation and management, and experience working in an Agile development process. They will also have a solid grasp of software development life cycle and automated testing to facilitate and analyze large data sets.
The DevOps Principal Software Engineer must have a bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering. Equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of a STEM degree. US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance and Special Program access are required.
Salary Range: $92,600 - $139,000
