Come to Floor & Decor in Nashua and watch your career grow Now hiring Cashiers This position is responsible for the creative workflow process for cashiering, handling product returns, performing basic cash office functions, and providing every customer with an exceptional shopping experience.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service Act and work in a manner that is consistent with companys core values. Demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the companys safe lifting practices standard operating procedures. Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner. Process customers at checkout using the point of sale (POS) system. Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines. Open and close registers. Follow established cash, check and charge card acceptance procedures. Answer the telephone according to accepted guidelines. Stock and tag merchandise displays as required. Create price tags and merchandise signs.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS At least one (1) year of cashier or customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.

WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT) While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.

The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS Medium Work Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
