Advocacy Role Overview:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Social Communications, the Manager will play an integral role in developing, sustaining, and growing audiences across Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts' social media channels.

With a keen focus on our education & advocacy activations, the Manager will contribute to strategy, content development, and execution in concert with the broader Communications Department and colleagues throughout the organization.

The Manager will help ensure Lincoln Center's social media activity contributes positively to strategic priorities and strengthens our relationships across key audiences.

What you'll get to do here:
Liaise with colleagues across Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts to collaboratively design social media content plans that contribute positively to institutional goals and priorities Creatively represent Lincoln Center brand voice, helping evolve and grow institutional storytelling through a variety of activations, focused primarily on education and advocacy initiatives Collaboratively develop and execute strategies for sustaining and growing Lincoln Center's digital communities, including sustained engagement with the international network of Activate participants Stay up to date on industry best practices, changes in social media platforms and across the social media environment Assist in measuring effectiveness of social media activity through mix of quantitative and qualitative data Collaborate alongside all 10 constituent organizations on the Lincoln Center campus to amplify cross-campus activities and stories Attend in-person events for live social media capture/posting You'll be a fit if you bring: At least 2-3 years' experience in social media, preferably within an education or cultural institution Deep knowledge of the performing arts and education industries Experience working collaboratively to create compelling visual and written storytelling Experience drafting content for major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (TikTok is a plus)

Ability to manage a heavy workload, meet aggressive targets and deadlines Mature sensibility when collaborating with colleagues to manage sensitive topics/negative commentary Experience with photography in support of live events Proficiency in Excel Experience with platforms such as Sprout Social, Hoot

Suite, Facebook Creator Studio, Canva and mojo is a plus Fluency in Spanish is a plus Please Note:
