Job Description Education A bachelor's or other non-clinical degree combined with an interest in healthcare and assisting a practice with it's growth.High School Diploma or equivalent Certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, etc.) from an accredited institution or government unit required with excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, technology literate skills. Job Description General Responsibilities Outreach to new facilities and group homes to introduce them to this practice Perform HR Functions Perform medical record management Assist in clinical operations in regulatory compliance, operating and capital budget preparation, patient safety, and professional development for providers and staff.
Coordinate practice meetings and trainings of medical staff Maintains awareness of advances in podiatry, computerized diagnostic and treatment equipment, data processing technology, and other related fields.
Reviews and analyzes practice activities and data to aid planning and cash and risk management and to improve service utilization.Coordinate with Medical Assistant/Secretaries to ensure new and follow-up appointments are booked in a timely manner. Assist CEO in developing a system that all Medical assistants/secretaries can utilize to ensure practice runs smoothly.
Billing Responsibilities Prepare Estimated Office Bills (EOB) for assigned clinician Work with Billing agency to ensure all claims are submitted in a timely manner.Reconcile Co-Payments and document them accordingly. IT Responsibilities Become a super-user of current and new office technologies. Train and assist staff with computer usage as needed. Experience using Office Ally Electronic Health Record (EHR) is a plus, not required. Maintains computerized record management systems to store and process data and to produce reports. Establishes work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space and equipment availability. Credentialing Maintains and compiles current and accurate data for all providers and for Nyota. Completes provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications, monitors applications and follow ups as needed. Maintain copies of current state licenses, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing documents for all providers. Audits health plan directories for accurate provider information. Tracts License and certification expirations for all providers and medical staff to ensure timely renewals. Set-up and maintains provider information in online credentialing database and systems. Ensures practice are current with health plans, agencies and other entities. Must maintain confidentiality of provider information. Microsoft Excel experience 1 year, credentialing experience 1 yr, preferred or willing to learn independently. Job Details COVID-19 Vaccination is required as we will be working with vulnerable populations.
$23.00 per hour Job Type : Full-time non-benefited position
Day shift, 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
