Production Manager ( Remote )

TeamPeople is seeking a proactive, thorough, and organized Production Manager to support production resourcing, talent hiring and payroll for agency clients.This includes client support, production resource support, administrative oversight, creative and production operations collaboration, and process and project management.
Duties & Responsibilities
Energize the team with a goal of strong collaboration, productivity and quality work
Responsible for overseeing services and service levels of a team of specialized contingent workers, including resource management, business operations, labor budgets, content production, quality of service and client satisfaction
Work closely with Payroll, Human Resources and Operations management to ensure all talent resources are introduced in a methodical approach with a personal, supportive connection
Manage onboarding and offboarding cycles for domestic hiring, Issue new hire documentation
Manage compliance and completion for HR forms such as tax documents and I-9s
Ensure documents and process are compliant with branding, operational, legal, and regulatory mandates, policies, and guidelines
Support Recruiting with administrative support for open requisitions, including postings and reference checks
Be an ambassador of the company to help foster the office and company culture, build community, and solve challenges
Facilitate union payroll scenarios, working with Payroll and Operations for requests related to SAG/AFTRA, IATSE, IBEW
Act as a point of contact for internal and external client and talent requests. Maintain an ongoing knowledge of the business; ability to represent TeamPeople both internally and externally to clients and potential candidates when applicable
Ensure team is compliant with all client branding, operational, legal, and regulatory mandates, policies and guidelines
Review labor hours, level of effort, and strategic goals to identify and create positions to support the business. Track efficacy, course correct and adjust as needs evolve.
Contribute to a productive work culture, fostering an environment of inclusivity and growth
Work proactively with client staff and teams to develop relationships with key clients, emerging businesses within the organization and executive leadership
Organize special projects as needed, participate in research, planning and Interface with various departments for project execution

Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and solving business problems related to creative and video production operations - and an interest in developing new strategies
Writes and speaks effectively and clearly articulates creative solutions in terms of clients business goals
High level of sense of urgency; Actively listens to others and acts upon information gained
Ability to switch from one project to another quickly and effectively; ability to quickly prioritize and reorganize events, projects, and resources
Process-oriented, ability to create and follow procedure while accommodating for unique needs
Has current knowledge of the creative talent market, familiarity with schedules, rates, and needs of project-based talent
Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills
Maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Think quickly and remain calm under pressure
Actively listen, discuss solutions, and mediate conflict
Proficient with HR and payroll operations and benefits legislation
Able to quickly learn new CRM, ATS, and software platforms. Experience with ADP, Salesforce, Kronos, Bullhorn, Workbook, Workday, or similar are preferred.
Education & Experience
5+ years experience in human resources, business affairs, or creative operations
5+ years tv/video/film production or entertainment agency experience preferred
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, Media, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
Remote work a possibility; will consider candidates in other regions
