Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) carry on a close relationship with patients as they clothe, bathe, feed, and observe vital signs within our long-term care facility.

To become a CNA you must attend a program and receive instruction in this field. This rewarding career field is projected to grow between now and 2024, so take the first step in pursuing a fulfilling career by attending our PAID TRAINING PROGRAM

The class will be five (5) weeks long, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., it is MANDATORY you attend every class and there will be nightly homework.

After graduation there will be MANDATORY Floor Orientation on all three (3) shifts:

7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Past or currently licensed CNAs need not apply.

*Only applicants being considered will be contacted for an interview*

Permanent shifts will be assigned upon completion of CNA program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent OR be at least 18 years of age
  • No previous CNA training or Licensure
  • Complete Floor Orientation on all three (3) shifts
  • Must be willing to work either Shift 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. /11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. (30-Minute Break)
  • Successful completion of the employment screening process to include, but not limited to, a national background investigation and drug test.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Possess a valid Florida Driver's License

This position is in the Other Personal Services system.
