The Plant Recruiter is responsible for Fresh Express full-cycle recruiting, to attract, screen, select, and onboard qualified and suitable personnel to fill the open positions.
Position FunctionsDesign and implement an overall recruiting strategy for manufacturing type positionsDevelop and update job descriptions and job specificationsTeam up with hiring managers to understand the requirements of each positionPerform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectivesPrepare and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges etcSource and attract candidates by using databases, social media, etcScreen candidate's resumes and job applicationsConduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within scheduleAssess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudesOnboard new employees to become fully integratedMonitor and apply recruiting best practicesProvide analytical and well-documented reports to upper managementAct as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection processPerform other duties as assignedPosition Skills & Qualifications DesiredComputer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).Ability to administer HR processes, policy, and proceduresWorkday proficiency a plusStrong interpersonal skillsPosition RequirementsSolid ability to conduct several types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc)Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, etc)Familiarity with the HRIS databases, applicant tracking systems, and CMSExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong decision-making skills1-3 years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or staffing agencyEducation & Training PreferredBS/MS in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience preferredSHRM, PHR preferredOther InformationThe statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed, as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
