    Description
    Position at Grid Dynamics Our customer is one of the world's largest technology companies based in Silicon Valley with operations all over the world.We are looking for a candidate with strong technical background possessing outstanding interpersonal skills. The position requires excellence in communication, both written and verbal, including the ability to work well with stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds with varying levels of technical knowledge.

    Responsibilities :

    • Participate in the design and development of web application from requirements analysis to production.
    • Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; testing; etc.)
    • Analyze and improve application performance
    • Search for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks
    • Work in an Agile methodology environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity are the key to success

    Requirements :

    • Minimum 8+ years experience in designing, developing and deploying scalable enterprise web applications and services using Java/Spring technologies
    • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
    • Hands-on programming experience in Java/J2EE, building and deploying highly scalable REST APIs with deep understanding of Java, J2EE, Servlets, HTL/Sightly skills, combined with enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring.
    • Good understanding of core web technologies including XML, HTML5, CSS, client/server-side-scripting languages such as JavaScript preferably using SPA (Single page application) and web services development using RESTful implementations.
    • Work closely with our business to understand their requirement, define the solution, develop POC's and demo the work in
    • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Hudson etc
    • Experience in AWS / Cloud approaches is an added advantage
    • Dedicated problem-solver who can work in a fast paced environment where multiple releases are a fact of life
    • Experience collaborating with other team members in multiple teams diagnosing and debugging complex systems, and participating in investigating build, deployment and operational issues
    • Capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines to solve critical issues
