Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department / ER Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Baltimore, MD area. Candidates with experience in caring for psychiatric patients, trauma, and other high-acuity areas are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the first line of defense for patients requiring urgent medical care
Treat patients suffering from trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions
Assess patients' needs, prioritize care, and monitor health conditions
Administer medications, operate and maintain medical equipment, and participate in emergency situations
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop care plans
Educate patients and their families about their condition and care plan

Requirements:

ADN or higher degree in nursing
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
1+ years of experience in an ER setting preferred
ACLS, PALS certification preferred
Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
