    Description

    Dispatchers keep the drivers moving in an efficient manner, coordinating them to different locations keeping our customers running with no interruptions in service.

    Dispatchers manage trailer moves, driver lunches, the time that the driver is in truck and will work closely with the Site Manager and Area Manager daily.

    Dispatchers will work closely with our customers and other 3rd parties to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective service that is possible.


    *Apply your knowledge of transportation.

    • Log shipments into computer
    • Document preparation
    • Record shipment data
    • Compare shipment contents to manifest, invoice, or order forms.
    • Report any discrepancies to accounting.
    • Record tractor, trailer, and seal numbers
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Dispatchers need to be proficient with computers. Yard Management Systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Team's.
    • Good communication skills using 2-way radio, phone, messenger, and email. Data Entry Problem solving skills Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to overcome day to day issues with trailer movements and other issues that may arise during shift.
    *SHIFT:*Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm, rotating weekend coverage as needed

    *Dispatchers need to be proficient with computers. Yard Management Systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and

    • Microsoft Team's.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to overcome day to day issues with trailer movements and other issues that may arise during shift.
    • Data Entry
