Position Location Fort Collins, CO 80523 Description of Work Unit Laboratory Animal Resources (LAR ) at Colorado State University manages over 48,000 square ft.
Research and teaching activities supported by LAR include infectious disease research, including ABSL3 work using select agents, cancer biology, hibernation, nutrition and metabolism studies, orthopedic research, therapeutics, toxicology, teaching activities and aquatic studies to support a diverse program of learning.
The mission of Laboratory Animal Resources is to use our expertise to provide the highest standard of care for laboratory animals in support of the Colorado State University research community.
This position fulfills a vital role in the administration of LAR to carry out this mission. To provide custodial/stocking duties to LAR personnel and the research labs who do research within the LAR facilities. Position Minimum Qualifications Must have reliable transportation.Must be able to travel from building to building (main campus to foothills). Must be able to work during winter and summer breaks.
