Description
The Department of Radiation Oncology at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is currently seeking a Vice-Chair to oversee all radiation oncology services rendered within the regional scope of authority. The Vice-Chair will collaborate closely with the Chairman of Radiation Oncology to develop and implement best policies and practices. The position entails collaborating with local clinical and administrative leadership with respect to strategic planning and programmatic growth. Additionally, the Vice-Chair will work in conjunction with other clinical and administrative leadership to develop policies and procedures, and to align strategies and approaches network-wide, as appropriate.

Opportunity Details
The Vice-Chair is expected to commit ten (10) hours per week and five hundred (500) hours per calendar year for Vice-Chair-related duties outside of clinical responsibilities. Our ideal candidates will provide the highest level of care to our patients, who come to us with the most complex cases from across our region. We seek physicians motivated to provide leadership across a broad range of initiatives, including technology, quality and safety, resident education, and clinical trials. Compensation is commensurate with productivity and is competitive based on MGMA Provider Compensation data. UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is strongly committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
