Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team in Omaha, Nebraska.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions, working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide top-notch patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Prepare and maintain all necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
Monitor and record patients vital signs and other data during procedures.
Administer medications and contrast agents under the direction of a physician.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout their stay in the lab.
Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the lab.
Participate in patient education and postprocedure care instructions.
Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on lab equipment.
Document procedures accurately and thoroughly in patient records.
Participate in oncall rotation to provide 24/7 coverage for emergency procedures.

Required Certifications:

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS)

Shift Details:

4x10 hour days
Shift timing: 6:45 AM 5:15 PM
Selfscheduling allowed, final schedule to be approved by the manager to ensure proper coverage.
