    Healthcare Non Profit CIO Position Overview

    We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and IT department head. The successful candidate will champion IT projects focusing on cyber security and IT infrastructure, driving strategic thinking to plan and implement projects that develop the department's strategy and solve complex problems.

    The CIO will report directly to the VP of Operations and be a member of our strategic leadership, collaborating with other executive leaders to advise on IT best practices and provide leadership and direction for the IT staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the IT strategic plan, encompassing cyber security, network, hardware, and software.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop forward-looking models and initiatives that provide insight into clinical operations, care delivery, and operational efficiencies.
    • Supervise and develop a multi-site IT team, ensuring effective communication and technical expertise.
    • Monitor and manage network and computer systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
    • Understand customer needs, effectively communicate with technical staff, and cater to diverse audiences.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in Healthcare IT.
    • Minimum 3+ years in senior-level management.
    • Proven experience in all facets of IT, including systems applications, database administration, financial systems, networks, telecommunications, hardware, and software.
