DevOps Engineer II

Location: Maryland Heights, MO - Onsite 3 days a week

Length: Contract-to-Hire

The Ordering Back Office department seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud-based technologies, including Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Unix administration, and monitoring tools like Splunk, Data Dog, and App Dynamics.

This role requires collaboration with junior and senior engineers, project managers, executives, administrative assistants, executive assistants, and receptionists to ensure the production and ongoing maintenance of a website platform. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure and system administration, identifying and resolving issues as needed, and communicating effectively with various stakeholders.

This position demands strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, and a proactive demeanor with a friendly disposition.

Required Skills:

2-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Platform Engineer
Experience in Pega or Business Process Management (BPM) platform; alternatives include Appian, Activiti, OutSystems, Kissflow, and SS&C Blue Prism Intelligent Automation Platform
Knowledge of Splunk and AppDynamics
Familiarity with Java, Spring, Tomcat, logging, and Spring Boot
A Java background is a plus, but not required; the ideal candidate must have experience supporting systems in production hosted on Linux boxes (ideally AWS)
