    Full-time

    Salary: $20.00- $23.00 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Service Technician of a residential apartment community located in Washington, DC (Brookland Manor). 

    Responsibilities:  

    • Respond to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance in a timely and professional manner
    • Conduct regular inspections of apartments and common areas to identify and address maintenance issues
    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
    • Assist with apartment turnovers, including cleaning, painting, and other tasks as needed
    • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes
    • Cover on-call emergencies

    Requirements:

    • Good written and verbal communication skills 

    • Strong knowledge of maintenance, plumbing, minor electrical, drywall repair, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Must have some tools as well as reliable transportation

    • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

    • A minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training in apartment maintenance is preferred
    • Ability to multitask and maintain a professional appearance

    • Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred
