    Mechanical HVAC Engineer (Senior or Principal): Hybrid Work

    Supporting an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project

    must have nuclear or cleanroom construction HVAC installation experience

    Mechanical / HVAC Engineer Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct construction document reviews as required.
    • Plan, organize, and coordinate mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.
    • Demonstrate design experience in nuclear industry HVAC design work and design related codes and standards.
    • Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations and specifications.
    • Provide technical direction to assigned engineers.

    Mechanical/ HVAC Project Engineer Education:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

    Mechanical / HVAC Project Engineer Experience Required:

    • Ten years' experience (nuclear preferred and cleanroom installation accepted) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
    • Proficient in computer-aided drafting CAD applications.
    • Experience in the engineering aspects of


    supporting a construction project , such as submittal reviews, responding to construction's request for information, and managing design revisions to capture as-built conditions.


    • Experience in
    managing designers , along with checking and approving others' work.

    • Experience in
    matrixed organization supporting multiple projects.


    Preferred Job Qualifications:

    • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License and professional certifications.

    Other Job Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. Citizen

    • Must have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
