    Solutions Architect

    Westlake, TX

    Hybrid: 2 weeks onsite per month (alternating weeks - one week onsite and one week remote then repeat)

    12 months+ Contract

    ++Feedback from manager is candidates are too hands on. Looking for candidates that are only doing development at the POC level. Otherwise, they should be 100% focused on Architecture in their current role++

    Top Skills:

    • 10+ years of proven experience in architecture, analytics, design, software development
    • 3+ years of AWS and/or Azure experience (AWS and/or Azure certification is a plus)
    • Authority in infrastructure topology resiliency patterns and observability, and SRE practices.
    • Experience with containerization strategies and serverless application architectures
    • Nice to have:
    • Proficiency in designing service-oriented architectures incorporating both functional and non-functional requirements
    • Experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployments is a plus

    Expertise and Skills You Bring:

    • 10+ years of proven experience in architecture, analytics, design, software development
    • 3+ years of AWS and/or Azure experience (AWS and/or Azure certification is a plus)
    • Authority in infrastructure topology resiliency patterns and observability, and SRE practices.
    • Deep understanding of chaos and performance testing in practice
    • Experience with containerization strategies and serverless application architectures
    • Ability to work both independently and with all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical team members
    • Hands-on experience in developing applications using Java and Spring frameworks / ecosystem
    • Proficiency in designing service-oriented architectures incorporating both functional and non-functional requirements
    • Experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployments is a plus
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to lead discussions amongst engineering teams, resolve issues and conflicts, as well as influence technology direction
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with leaders and colleagues across both technology and business organizations
    • Strong technical background with a willingness to continually learn and evolve
    • Passionate about what you do and are eager to tackle new challenges
