Job responsibilities include:
Vehicle RetrofittingVehicle UpfittingVehicle Build per Bill of Materials and Process SheetsBuild Concern / Challenge Diagnostics and SolutionsAssist engineering team with troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective actionComplete reports of work and unique fittings during assigned projectTracking personal progress to ensure project and corporate objectives are metMaintain delivery timing on all assignmentsQuality validation - pre and post buildDedication to SafetyDedication to QualityPerformance as a Team player - attitude and actions
Minimum Qualifications:3+ years of automotive mechanic experienceExperience with equipment such as hoists, fluids evacuation, mechanic tools Willing to work overtime as neededStrong automotive mechanical and problem solving skillsVehicle diagnostics Reasonably skilled in the understanding of vehicle operation in HVAC, Powertrain, Drivetrain, Electrical SystemsCommitment to follow established Process, Procedures, PoliciesReasonable computer skills in accessing, reading, and inputting required data

State of Michigan, ASE, and/or manufacturer certifications Advanced Electronic and wiring experienceScan Tool experienceHV Systems trainingHV Systems experienceHybrid Vehicle experienceElectric Vehicle experienceVehicle programming experienceFabrication skills and experience OEM environment experienceCompensation will be aligned to skillset, experience, demonstrated performance
