    $24 per hour plus, based on experience

    Hours:
    Monday - Friday, 4:30 pm - 12:30 am


    Quality Assurance Inspector Job Description:


    As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing lines in Fairfax, VT.

    Your mission is to conduct daily audits of documented processes and specifications, ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the stringent criteria set forth.

    With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.


    Quality Assurance Inspector Responsibilities:

    Inspecting Excellence:
    Thoroughly inspect every product emerging from our manufacturing lines, upholding uncompromising quality standards.

    Audit Mastery:
    Conduct audits on all operations and functional areas, meticulously verifying compliance with Job Breakdown Sheets.

    Precise Documentation:
    Utilize inspection checklists to document findings for incoming inspection of received parts, maintaining meticulous records.

    Effective Communication:
    Report audit findings to area supervisors and the Quality Manager, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

    Technical Expertise:
    Harness your proficiency in using basic test equipment such as Calipers, Rockwell Hardness Tester, Micrometer, and more.

    Continuous Improvement:
    Communicate daily with the Quality Manager, highlighting problems and proposing areas for improvement.

    Product Screening:
    Sample inspect and screen products as required, contributing to the delivery of flawless goods.

    Firearm Manufacturing Acumen:
    Demonstrate a solid understanding of firearm manufacturing requirements, ensuring compliance at every step.

    Safety First:
    Exhibit complete understanding of firearms safety, prioritizing the well-being of our team.

    Record Management:
    Maintain records of non-conforming materials, aiding in traceability and quality improvement.

    Adherence to Policies:

    Strictly adhere to all employment and safety policies established by law and the company, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.


    PPE Compliance:
    Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment as directed by the company, promoting a culture of safety.

    Workspace Excellence:
    Keep your workstation and department area clean, fostering an environment conducive to productivity.

    Timely Documentation:
    Complete all required paperwork promptly and accurately, contributing to streamlined operations.

    Flexibility and Professionalism:

    Embrace flexibility by undertaking any assigned duties and maintain respect, courtesy, a positive attitude, and professionalism towards co-workers and the company.


    Requirements to Excel in this Role:

    Have a strong understanding and experience with work instructions.

    Industry Knowledge:
    Bring experience with Industry Sampling Plans and Auditing to ISO 9001 (preferred).

    Measurement Tools:
    Be skilled in using standard measurement tools, height stands, and optical comparators.

    Organizational Skills:
    Follow directions, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
