- Building wireframes, mock ups, and other design artifacts from technical requirements
- Collaboration with other designers and subject matter exports to design prototype interfaces to solve scientific problems
- Attend project meetings, deliver design artifacts on time under direction of design mentor
- Collaborate and participate in design reviews and presentations to internal project stakeholders
- Contribute formal research projects such as academic papers, presentations, or deliverables Qualifications
- Candidates must have a high school diploma /GED or higher
- Candidates must be degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited college or university
- Candidates must be taking at least 6 credit hours and have an overall cumulative GPA of 2.50.
- Familiar with user-centered design practices
- Familiar with design systems and component specification
- Familiar with graphic and media design and illustration
- Familiar with interactive story-telling techniques
- Familiar with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Solid analytical and creative thinker with excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual Hazardous Working Conditions/Environment
