    Physiatrist
    • Inpatient RehabilitationWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiatrist to join our comprehensive healthcare team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
    As a physiatrist, you will play a crucial role in leading and delivering patient-centered care to individuals undergoing rehabilitation, helping them regain function, mobility, and independence.


    Responsibilities:
    Provide expert medical care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation services.

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of therapists, nurses, and other medical professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

    Utilize your expertise to diagnose and manage a variety of conditions, such as musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, and functional impairments.

    Lead and oversee the management of a 35-bed rehabilitation unit, ensuring high-quality care and facilitating patient progress.
    Contribute to the overall patient care experience, emphasizing functional improvement and quality of life.
    Engage in shared call coverage to ensure continuous patient care and coordination.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes.


    Qualifications:


    Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry).Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required.

    Fellowship training and relevant years of experience in Physiatry is desirable but flexible.
    Valid and unrestricted medical license in Vermont or elgible post hire.
    Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing physical and functional impairments.
    Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
    Commitment to patient-centered care and functional improvement.
    Ability to lead and collaborate within a team-based care model.
