Essential FunctionsRetrieves, pours, counts, labels, and reconstitutes prescription medicationsAccesses, inputs, and retrieves information through the pharmacy's computer network to maintain accurate records Packages and labels products under the supervision of the PharmacistObtains refill authorizations from prescribersProcesses and prepares third-party insurance claimsCommunicates with physicians, patients, and third partiesMaintains pharmacy inventoryPrepares reports related to sales, usage, and inventoryAnswers phones and directs customer calls to appropriate personnelMaintains and cleans equipment, work areas, and shelvesRequirements High School diploma or equivalentPharmacy Technician license in DOPLPrevious pharmacy experience Salary Description $ $24.25 Depending on Experience
