- Reviews and analyzes quality notifications.
- Reviews supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and capability study information.
- Reviews and processes Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for all projects and runtime improvements.
- Sets up the quality requirements in the system for inspection.
- Coordinates the QA section of the Product Realization Process.
- Analyzes new and revised part introductions using statistical analysis.
- Evaluates the conformity of the project to the documented process.
- Reports item status to core teams and facilitates issue resolution.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues to improve Plant Quality.
- Evaluate and recommend quality concepts of probability, statistics and data analysis (SPC, DOE, and process capability studies) to make decisions.
- Performs internal audits to ensure compliance to ISO requirements and Wacker Neuson Corporation goals.
- Identifies and implements appropriate preventative and corrective actions along with root cause analysis and effectiveness review.
- Trains all levels of personnel on new quality concepts.
- Works with other departments to select and define appropriate quality methodologies.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of Quality Engineering experience.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Sponsorship will not be provided now or in the future).
- Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements.
- Proven problem solving skills with and use of statistical analysis.
- Proficient computer skills including Access, Word and Excel.
- ISO and internal audit experience.
- CQE Certification is preferred.
- Able to travel up to 5% to other Company or Supplier locations
