    Specialty:
    We specialize in Primary Care with an emphasis on Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, catering
    exclusively to adult patients.

    Position Overview:
    We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) specialized in primary care/internal medicine. The NP will
    work collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide exceptional care to our patients. The role
    involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of health issues, focusing on preventive care
    and the management of chronic conditions.


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Comprehensive Patient Assessment:
    Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused physical
    examinations.

    Diagnosis and Treatment:
    Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.

    Diagnostic Proficiency:
    Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and
    radiology reports.

    Medication Management:
    Prescribe medications and other treatments.

    Chronic Care Management:
    Develop and manage treatment plans for patients with chronic
    illnesses.

    Education:
    Provide patient education and counseling on wellness, disease prevention,
    and management of chronic conditions.

    Collaborative Healthcare Integration:
    Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other
    healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    Medical Record Accuracy:
    Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

    Professional Development and Research:
    Participate in continuous education and research to
    stay abreast of advancements in internal medicine and primary care.


    Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner Position:

    State Licensure:

    Georgia State Nurse Practitioner License:
    Candidates must hold a current Georgia state license
    as a Nurse Practitioner, with a specialty in family or adult medicine.

    Certifications:
    Specialty Board

    Certification:
    Board certification in the Nurse Practitioner's specialty area,
    specifically as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner, is required.
    National Board

    Certification:
    Applicants must possess national board certification.
    American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center
    (ANCC)

    Certification:
    Certification through either the AANP or ANCC is necessary.


    Education:

    Educational Background:
    A Master's Degree in Nursing or a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP)
    from an accredited nurse practitioner program is required.



    Experience:

    Clinical

    Experience:

    A minimum of three years of experience in primary care, specifically in
    Internal Medicine or Family Practice, is essential.

    Coding and Billing Proficiency:
    Knowledge of Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding
    guidelines is necessary.

    EMR and Dictation Proficiency:
    Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems is
    required. We utilize EClinicalWorks for our EMR system and Medical Dragon One for dictation,
    ensuring an efficient and optimized workflow.


    Clinical and Personal Skills:

    Strong Clinical Skills:
    The ability to work independently with robust clinical skills is crucial.

    Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are
    key to delivering patient-centered care and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.


    Operational Details & Scheduling:

    Work Schedule:
    This is a full-time position, structured within a 4.5-day workweek, from Monday
    to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The arrangement can be flexible if necessary.

    Weekends & Major Holidays:
    The office is closed to prioritize and maintain work life balance.
    Patient Volume &
    Schedule Structure: 2 new or 3 established patients per hour.

    On Call Responsibilities:
    Phone calls only; calls are minimal and light.
