    This position is located at our University Crossing location, Joint Commission certified, three-story, 82,000 square-foot facility with 111 beds, serving patients with both short and long-term rehabilitation needs.

    * $3,000 sign on bonus*Position Summary: A Staff Occupational Therapist is a registered therapist who, under general supervision, is responsible for therapeutic management of a specific caseload of patients from admission through discharge via evaluation, treatment planning and implementation.


    Responsibilities:

    • Complete the new patient evaluation, establish customized treatment plans and patient goals, and participate in the implementation of patient care programs
    • Deliver and manage high quality patient care for multiple diagnoses
    • Maintain a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
    • Effectively communicate skills both verbally and in writing
    • Promote evidence based patient care

    Qualifications:

    • Current OT license in state of Florida
    • Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification
    • Experience preferred, will consider a new grad
    • Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements
    • Ability to prescribe, fit, and fabricate orthoses as needed preferred
