    Physician Recruitment Specialist

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Develops and implements strategies to attract physicians for open positions.
    • Works in conjuction with Manager, AVP and Chiefs/Chairs on recruitment of new physicians.
    • Proposes and implements a variety of activities to increase the impact of the recruiting efforts. Has a creative and diverse approach to recruiting challenges.
    • Sources candidates via job postings, academic contacts and recruitment agencies.
    • Stays abreast of latest recruiting trends and activities, for the benefit of all supported departments.
    • Creates job postings that are accurate and promote the MSMC brand to attract top talent.
    Places these postings on all appropiate sites/media.

    • Develops and maintains open communication of needs with academic and recruitment contacts.
    • Works closely with physician leaders on their recruitment needs, understanding preferences for potential candidates.
    • Develops an understanding of the various employed specialties in order to source appropriate candidates.
    • Build and maintains solid relations with new physicians, providing support through the on-boarding process and the transition as a new employee.
    • Is proactive in building candidate piplines.
    • Works proactively with other departments toward strategic initiatives and goals.
    • Maintains records in conformance with legal and organizational requirements.
    • Requests appraisal on identified recruits in advance of job offer.
    • Prepares reports and recommends solutions to minimize barriers and improve the impact of the recruiting group.
    • Works with marketing department to develop ads, text, design and schedule within budget requirements.
    • Works collaboratively with Manager, AVP, CFO and Chief/Chair and others to evaluate the qualifications of physicians, arrange interviews and make offers.
    • Works with Practice Administrators on hand-off/onboarding of new physicians
    • Keeps active recruitment report up to date on a weekly basis
    • All other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred
    • 3+ years experience, preferably within the Healthcare industry
