    Job Description Job Description Description Direct, monitor, and evaluate the activities and performance off the accounting staff and department systems and processes Oversee and participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, including the review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, and eliminations.

    Review and analyze journal ledger activity for multiple related companies. Prepare monthly financial reporting, conduct analysis and respond to inquiries. Hands on preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (and footnotes) for bank lenders and Executive Management. Implement and own company accounting policies. Provide technical and operational accounting guidance. Support financial forecasts and development of the annual five-year business plan, including balance sheet and cash flows. Lead manual labor and overhead standard cost calculations for product costing. Lead and direct year-end audit with external certified public accountant (CPA) firm. Interface frequently with management to exchange and report information and key projects/ status updates and resolve operational issues.

    Work collaboratively with internal departments breaker (financial and non-financial), support change initiatives to improve profitability and cash flow performance, as well as overall organizational health.


    Applicants must have:
    Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance.
    Minimum 8-10 years of general accounting experience, including private company experience.

    Minimum 5 years of experience managing an accounting department, including supervision of staffExperience working with integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting systems to facilitate monthly and annual close.

    Ability to navigate and comprehend the complex ownership/ Organization structure.

    Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) including journal entry and account reconciliation preparation, financial statement preparation, internal controls, and external audits.

    Knowledge of project reporting including fixed cost.
    Proven ability to hire, develop, coach, train and lead a team or department.
    Well-organized with demonstrated success in driving innovation and overseeing multiple projects.
    Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
    Can easily transition between detail and higher level analysis.
    Must possess the ability to adapt to change, manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
    Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
    Experience with Epicor/CMS ERP system.
