    Job DescriptionPosition Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled Chemical Plant Blender to join our team in Midland, TX. The Chemical Plant Blender will be responsible for accurately measuring, mixing, and blending various chemicals and raw materials according to production specifications and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing process and ensure the timely and efficient production of our chemical products.
    Responsibilities:
    • Operate blending equipment and machinery to mix chemicals and raw materials according to batch recipes and production schedules.
    • Accurately measure and weigh chemicals and ingredients using precision instruments and scales.
    • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
    • Monitor blending processes and equipment performance, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
    • Conduct quality control checks and tests on finished blends to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
    • Document production activities, including batch records, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance logs.
    • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
    • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience working in a chemical manufacturing or blending environment preferred.
    • Strong understanding of chemical handling procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, batch recipes, and production instructions.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measuring, mixing, and blending chemicals.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping purposes.
    • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
