    We are currently seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer to join our team in San Gabriel, California.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in structural engineering, strong technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions for a variety of building projects.


    Responsibilities:
    1.

    Perform structural analysis and design for a wide range of building structures, mostly residential projects, and some experiences in commercial projects.2.

    Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications in accordance with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the State of California.3.

    Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions that meet project requirements.4. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions, identify structural issues, and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications.5. Review and approve construction documents, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety requirements.6.

    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge of structural engineering principles.7.

    Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in structural engineering, and incorporate best practices into project designs.8. Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and regulatory agencies to address questions, resolve issues, and facilitate project approvals.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Structural Engineering required.
    • BPELSG Board certification SE preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design and analysis.
    • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or RISA.
    • Strong knowledge of building codes and standards, including ASCE 7, IBC, and ACI.
    • Experience with seismic analysis and design is highly desirable.
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
    • Chinese Mandarin or Spanish speaking prefer, but not required.#J18808Ljbffr
