    iShine Pediatric Therapy Clinic is a small clinician owned business in the beautiful hill country town of Boerne, Texas. We provide OT, PT, ST, behavior coaching and social skills groups to infants to teenagers with a variety of needs. Our clinicians work collaboratively with one another, often co-treating when possible and necessary. Humor and camaraderie are a huge part of our day We have great, supportive parents, clients and families.

    We are passionate about what we do and want to provide the best care for our clients and families every day. We are looking for therapists who feel the same way. We are looking for both part time and full time OTs.

    Responsibilities:
    • Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to determine their occupational therapy needs
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs
    • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities
    • Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance their independence
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
    • Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the treatment process
    • Educate patients and their families on strategies for managing their conditions and promoting overall wellness
    • Must be able to work in the afternoons/afterschool hours

    Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of childhood development, appropriate activities of daily living, sensory, cognitive, physical and psychosocial needs
    • Experience working with children, either in home health, ECI, or clinic
    • Ability to provide excellent patient service and deliver compassionate care
    • Proficiency in assessing and addressing patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
    • Effective communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients/families
    • Must be reliable and demonstrate professional attitude and demeanor

    Education:
    Must have a Masters degree

    License:
    Must hold a Texas OT license and be in good standing

    Job Types: Full-time, Contract

    Salary: $50-60 per hour

    Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
