    Description

    Job DescriptionThe role:
    Responsible for performing inspections on incoming materials, in-progress processes, and finished goods per approved methods, procedures, and specifications. Inspectors interact with all levels of production management in assuring that finished goods meet required quality standards.
    This role will report to Quality Manager.


    Responsibilities:


    Work to provide a GMP compliance company .Oversee non-conformance and work with supervisor to ensure corrective actions are complete and followed.

    Actively works with production team to resolve identified nonconformities.
    Work as a team leader and communicate professionally. Assist with training new Quality Inspectors.
    Recommend and help implement strategies and actions to mitigate risk/ solve issuesIssue NCMR's (Non-Conforming Materials Report) as required.

    Identify categories of non-conformance specific to printReview Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions to ensure up to dateCreate standard guidelinesEnsure all employees adhere to GMP guidelines.

    Perform other duties as required.
    Problem solver with a sense of urgencyEntrepreneurial mindset and ability to take ownership.

    Excellent communication skillsAssist Supervisor with department monthly outputs and PowerPoint presentationsExperience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred.

    Other duties and responsibilities as required by management.


    Requirements:
    High School Diploma or GED and 3 year QA experience are highly preferred.
    Ability to communicate, write, and read in English.

    Experienced with measuring instruments (scales, calipers, calibrating thermometers)Basic computer literacy skills in Office Standard Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Office SuiteMust be open to work any shift.
