- 1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:00pm
- 2ND SHIFT- 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
- Monday to Friday (some weekends might be required)
- Occasional travel for 2-3 days at a time required.
- Complete a full vehicle evaluation and complete a clear and concise report and any other records for each vehicle during assigned shift.
- Drive in small groups on designated routes for 8 10 hour shifts while performing test procedures.
- Participate in all vehicle testing including but not limited to driving of foreign specification vehicles, and designated special tests.
- Operate vehicles in an extremely safe manner, obeying all laws of the road.
- Maintain safety and security procedures.
- Possess a valid USA driver's license for a minimum of 9 years. Have no points, no major traffic citations, and/or accidents for the past 3 years. No DUI or DWAI convictions
- Able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screening, written driving test, a road driving test, read maps, lift at least 25 pounds, and be able to travel outside of state limits.
- Must be comfortable driving at higher elevations and in inclement weather.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Availability of 2 5 days per week Monday - Friday, some weekends may be required.
- Ability to drive for prolonged periods of time, from 8 miles to 600 miles per shift.
- Accurately communicate detailed findings verbally and legibly write detailed findings on reporting forms. (in English)
- Follow directions and execute tasks.
- Be reliable and maintain good attendance.
- Complete required trainings.
- Have a positive attitude and ability to contribute in a team environment.
- Be willing to travel occasionally for 2-3 days at a time.

Description
Kett Engineering is seeking a hardworking, detail oriented, and team contributing test driver on behalf of our customer who is a prestigious British auto manufacturer at their test center based in Golden, CO.
SHIFT TIMES
The test driver will operate pre-production vehicles as part of a team on predominantly public roads while performing a full vehicle evaluation for each drive cycle. The test driver will travel for 2-3 days at a time every few weeks. Driver will be responsible for identifying any issues in relation to the powertrain, quality of build, functionality and design of vehicle systems, and any other vehicle related items.
