    with Racing for Recovery is responsible for telling our story both visually and through prose. You will create cohesive campaigns to promote our services across a variety of media including social, print, and email.

    Given the nature of our business, comfort in research and writing about popular topics in substance abuse, exercise, and healthy lifestyle is essential.

    This

    full-time/part-time or contractor position

    The

    Marketing Specialist


    will be offered a competitive base salary with performance reviews conducted at 90 days and annually thereafter, and opportunity for growth as value is delivered.


    A Marketing Specialist should be able to:
    Conduct market research to identify target audiences, client/customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.

    Liaise with the Leadership and Creative Teams to produce innovative branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials, and advertising copies while promoting Racing for Recovery's Mission, Vision, and Goals.

    Oversee social media channels to ensure brand uniformity.
    Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay service messages to clients/customers.
    Investigate the performance of Racing for Recovery's marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics.
    Create innovative marketing campaigns depending on robust data and present the recommendations to the Leadership Team.
    Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients/customers through networking and prospecting.
    Create goals and objectives to approach clients/customers through appropriate marketing channels.

    Assist in outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as events planning, advertising, optimization, and content development.


    A Marketing Specialist's responsibilities include:
    Positioning yourself as someone clients feel comfortable communicating with
    Manage social media initiatives with copy, images, video, and other content.
    Design and send out marketing content (ie. Newsletters, postcards).
    Create compelling videos in a time efficient way.
    Research and carry out external marketing projects such as developing referral relationships and booking speaking opportunities.
    Update and maintain our website, maximize the volume of inbound traffic from search engines to a website.
    Create/Edit/Beautify

    Blogs, Landing Pages

    The ideal candidate should have:
    Demonstrated content marketing experience.
    No difficulty interacting with strangers.
    Ability to describe Racing for Recovery's Mission, Vison, and Goals in a compelling way.
    Creativeness – think of new and interesting ways to grab attention.
    Trust to make decisions reflective of our core values of professionalism, courtesy, empathy, humility, and gratitude.

    Ability to work autonomously and have excellent communication skills with the Leadership Team regarding wins, project timelines, and potential or active fires that need addressing.

    Confidence in SEO and Google Ads management is a plus.

    Requirements:

    1+ years of experience in internal/external marketing field
    Experience with social media and marketing tools and/or other creative design tools
    Bachelor's degree in related field
    Strong client-facing and written communication skills
    Ability to think strategically, lead projects from beginning to end, and work with little oversight
    Advanced troubleshooting and single-tasking skills
