Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Your ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation will be essential to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system or by hand.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
- Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Excellent hospitality skills, demonstrating a welcoming attitude towards all guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of kitchen operations and the importance of sanitation practices.
