    This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following office locations: St.

    Petersburg, FL; Memphis, TN; Southfield, MI; Denver, CO.


    Job Summary:


    As a Lead Engineer for the Financial Accounting Applications Team, you will take a lead role in the detailed technical design, development, and implementation of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.

    You will serve as a technical lead, helping guide architectural design decisions, developing and reviewing model and application code, and ensuring high availability and performance of our applications.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Analyzes complex system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems.
    • Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or to reuse of existing code.
    • Leads or participates in assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
    • May recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities. Remains current with new technologies.
    • Obtains and evaluates information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
    • Participates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.
    • Provides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems.
    • Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
    • Assists in preparing project plans using project management tools.
    • Reviews test results; documents test activities, and records remedial actions.
    • Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Knowledge of:

    • Oracle Financial Accounting Hub is required.
    • Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) base knowledge for query writing (nice to have but not required).
    • Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (nice to have but not required).

    Skill in:

    • Oracle EBS Subledger module - Financial Accounting Hub
    • PL/SQL
    • Oracle Data Integrator (willing to train).
    • Oracle Analytics Server
    • Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.
    • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid software development methodologie
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
    • Technical experience with requirements gathering, project estimate, developing test plans and test suites (manual and automated, including performance testing), release and change management experience
    • Experience working in remote and globally distributed business environments, employing a variety of in-person and remote collaboration tools, including email, phone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Azure-DevOps, etc.

    Ability to:

    • Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
    • Demonstrate a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; remains current with developments and trends in areas of expertise.
    • Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
    • Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • May occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.

    Education/Previous Experience:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related degree and five (5) years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training and experience approved by HR.
