The Radiology Technologist is Responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiological examinations, for setting up and adjusting related equipment and devices, and for maintaining related records.
Performs standardized radiological examinations involving proper positioning of patient, techniques, and operation of equipment. Reports directly to the Team Leader of General Diagnostic Radiology or Lead Technical SpecialistDemonstrates competence in written, oral and electronic communication skills (interpersonal/communication and technological effectiveness competencies)
Demonstrated an understanding of medical terminology and computer skills required
Work is typically performed in a tertiary care center on both house patients and clinic patients
Requires transporting portable imaging equipment to various rooms for exams
