    Summary:

    The role is for an experienced, hands-on IT professional who is skilled in management of Technology Book of Work while adhering to mandated policies and procedures for governing and reporting on status of Tech Initiatives and management of risks and issues including associated mitigation plans. This role also entails driving the change management process for Consent Order milestones and ensuring the end-to-end management of associated Change Request pipeline. This role will liaise with many senior stakeholders and multiple teams to obtain the needed information to drive the Tech BOW Initiative management and/or the Change Management process. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop a strong understanding of company policy and procedures that guide governance of a Technology Key Initiative.
    • Ensure compliance with Key Initiative policy and procedures.
    • Drive timely and comprehensive updates for status, Critical Success Criteria (CSC), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), risks, issues and Path to Green for the Technology Data BoW Key Initiative.
    • Ensure timely remediation of any findings identified by governing bodies.
    • Understand, implement and ensure compliance with Change Request guidelines and procedures mandated by the Data Program Group.
    • Complete robust reviews to vet submitted changes against CO plan to identify anomalies including misaligned dates, lack of comprehensive rationale, outliers in consistency etc.
    • Provide transparency on status of Change Requests, facilitate removal of bottlenecks and escalate as needed to drive Change Requests to completion.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the Consent Order plan, milestone linkages and inter dependencies and leverage that knowledge for assigned areas.
    • Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior management.
    • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the business, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
    • Partner, collaborate and work with other areas, as necessary, to come up with the best solutions/decisions.
    • Influence diverse stakeholders at various levels of seniority without direct reporting relationships to ensure appropriate response and sense of urgency.

    Required Skills:

    • 10+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, or technology with a focus on governance.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive change management processes.
    • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized.
    • Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging.
    • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
    • Strong leadership skills and influencing capabilities.
    • Demonstrated ability to work on tools and process that help track Technology Book of Work.
    • Ability to work in a fast moving and complex environment with proactive demeanor to pick-up complex and new topics and deliver on them.
    • Ability to understand risk-reward, provide diplomatic challenge to stakeholders, and escalate issues when appropriate.
    • Strong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities to deliver high quality and timely work.
    • Comfort navigating complex, highly-matrixed organizations.
    • Comfortable acting as an agent for positive change with agility and flexibility.
    • Process mapping, consulting, audit skills are desirable.
    • Financial services and Regulatory reporting experience is a Plus.
    • US Financial Regulatory reporting process understanding is a plus.

    Education:

    • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
    • Technology/Data Management/Information Systems Certification preferred.
    • Strong plus if one has experience with regulatory or consent order type of projects, or audit.
