    Medicaid Billing Grant Site Representative


    Location:
    District Office- Southern

    $ $21.64 /hour


    Job Goal:


    Collaborates with all departments within the NCSD and with outside agencies, including Nevada Medicaid and Third-Party Billing Agency (currently PCG) in support of billing school-related services to Medicaid.

    Responsible for maintaining documentation, including electronic files and paper, and reporting. Serves as the primary point of contact for all Medicaid billing activites.


    Qualifications:

    • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
    • Valid Nevada Drivers License

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Adheres to HIPAA and FERPA compliance, maintaining security and confidentiality of all Medicaid and Special Education files and records.
    • Utilizes Medicaid 's provider portal to verify student eligibility and monitor for payment
    • Collaborates with staff to obtain parental consent forms and electronic signatures; enters related data in Third Party Billing program; maintains and tracks consent records
    • Provide qualifying IEPs to provider for physician authorization; enter related data in Third Party Billing program; maintain records and track services and authorizations
    • Analyze documentation for accuracy, follow-up, and changes in status
    • Assists in the management of the database as it relates to student records
    • Provides follow-up for billing discrepancies or missing information
    • Maintains compliance with Medicaid requirements and procedures
    • Stays informed of changes and developments in the Medicaid reimbursement program
    • Assists in implementing changes in billing procedures as it relates to eligible services Collaborates with Third Party Billing agency, Medicaid, state agencies, Special Education, Technology/Student Data Administration, and Finance to ensure accurate and efficient billing practices and reimbursement procedures.     • Attends and contributes to meetings with Third Party Billing agency, Medicaid, state agencies, Special Education, Technology/Student Data Administration, and Finance
    • Attends all trainings and workshops regarding Medicaid current policies and regulations
    • Print and work reports: Denials, Service Exceptions, Parent Consent, Current IEPs
    • Responsible for receiving, verifying, and submitting physician invoices
    • Maintain contracts between agencies
    • New users
    • Assists in outreach to families as it relates to Medicaid coverage
    • Models non-discriminatory practices in all activities
