    Job Overview

    The Referral Liaison position plays a crucial role in promoting Covenant Care services to various healthcare practitioners and facilities.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Establishing relationships with referring sources, including individual practitioners and facilities.
    • Using diverse resources to promote referrals to Covenant Care.
    • Ensuring that individuals in need of home health, private duty, or palliative care choose Covenant Care.

    Key Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:

    • A degree in marketing, business, public relations, or a related field.
    • Two years of proven healthcare sales performance.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • A background in healthcare, such as nursing, social work, or another patient-centered healthcare role.

    Job Responsibilities

    The Referral Liaison will:

    • Develop referral relationships with healthcare practitioners, physician practice offices, and facilities.
    • Generate referrals to Covenant Care.
    • Mentor and train team members in marketing and sales objectives.
    • Serve as an informed home health expert and patient advocate.
    • Develop ongoing relationships with key personnel in referral source offices or facility settings.
    • Provide education to professional healthcare referral sources.
    • Collaborate with Volunteer Community Relations Managers and other team members for market coverage.

    Requirements

    This role requires:

    • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) software.
    • Demonstration of knowledge in laws and regulations related to marketing and sales in home health and healthcare.
    • Adherence to all policies and procedures of Covenant Care regarding inducement.
    • Ability to participate in continuing education to promote professional growth.

    Physical Requirements

    This position may occasionally require:

    • Medium to heavy lifting.
    • Considerable time traveling in a motor vehicle.
    • Weekend and evening work.
