    Mount Indie is seeking an Influence Operations Planner in support of Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC) in Quantico VA.

    This work includes support to influence operations task functions requires interaction with service and joint level audiences.

    The ideal candidate will support influence planning focused on the functions of Psychological Operations (PSYOP) and Civil Military Operations (CMO).

    This support will include planning support for forward deployed elements and other supporting establishments.

    This task requires an ability to support the development of PSYOP plans for approval along with an understanding of PSYOP policy, doctrine and training to support the below responsibilities.

    The Influence Operations Planner shall have senior level experience the utilization of military planning processes, e.g. JPP, PSYOP 7-Step Process, JPP, and relevant supporting training/certification process. Task may require off-site support and periodic CONUS and OCONUS travel.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions):

    • Assist in the execution of PSYOP Planning to support forward deployed elements and/or requested supporting establishments.
    • Support in drafting appropriate level orders and other documents to incorporate influence activities into standing plans;
    • Assist in the review and recommendations for influence plans for compliance with legal and policy requirements;
    • Assist in coordination with CCMD planners to ensure planning efforts are nested with ongoing or planned CCMD plans.
    • Assist MCIOC coordination with external organizations to support or conduct the PSYOP 7-Step Planning Process.
    • Participate in OPTs and Working Groups (WG).
    • Contribute in the analysis and review of MAGTF component plans to OPLANS and CONPLANs for opportunities to integrate influence efforts.
    • Support MCIOC training support requirements either as a part of unit training or as a part of external requirements.
    • Support DOTMLPF requirements, and other Influence Operations tasks. Required Experience
    • A combination of one of the following education requirements:
    • Minimum of a high school diploma and 12 years related work experience
    • Minimum of a Bachelors degree and 8 years related work related experience
    • Background in Psychological Operations (PSYOP) and Civil Military Operations (CMO)
    • Understanding of PSYOP policy, doctrine and training
    • Direct working knowledge of the military planning process (e.g. JPP, PSYOP 7-Step Process, JPP, and relevant supporting training/certification process)
    • US Citizenship required; Active TS/SCI clearance
    • Willing and able to travel off site and OCONUS/CONUS as needed
