    Job Description A Portland based company is seeking a Senior Manager of Finance to provide support for their executive leadership with at least 10 years of accounting and finance experience, a minimum of a bachelor's degree (with a master's in finance preferred), experience in working with manufacturing, a solid understanding of project management, strong Excel skills, and some familiarity with SQL.

    Knowledge of SAP, PowerBI systems, ERP experience, and/or SAP or Sage is preferred.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    Support the month end close functions of the company by reviewing company performance, advising on reclasses or other corrections to be made and supporting explanation gathering and variance analysis.

    Prepare and maintain annual budgets and multi-year forecast and perform analysis of budget/forecast variances and financial trends.
    Evaluates pricing / margin structure, performs customer level P&L reviews and supports / coaches the pricing analyst.
    Creates financial models and reports based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
    Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
    Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation. Monitors and budgets spend.
    Can develop complex tools / reporting such as cash forecasting, sales, cost of goods and EBITDA bridges.
    Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data. Can operate in PowerBI and work with 3rd parties on new reports or platform needs.
    Evaluate potential acquisitions by supporting diligence and deal modeling, as well as assisting with process and financial results integration.
    Develops and maintains key reports used for Board Reporting on a quarterly basis.
    Manage and mentor finance pricing analyst on-site at this location.

    Partner with other senior leaders in the business to develop and implement process improvements and new technologies to create a more efficient Finance department.

    Occasional travel as necessary to other locations
    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree mandatory and master's degree in finance preferred.
    CPA preferred.
    10+ years of accounting and finance experience with successful career progression to a supervisory role
    Prior experience working for a company with multiple locations in a high growth environment.
    Experience working for a manufacturer required; one that sells to retailers preferred.
    Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
    Thorough understanding of project management.
    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Knowledge of SAP and PowerBI systems preferred.
    Familiarity with SQL
    Superior communication skills
    ERP experience, either SAP and/or Sage, desired
    Strong Excel skills are mandatory.

    Starting pay is $110,000 to 140,000 per year depending upon experience for this Direct Hire position, which includes a solid benefit package.

    This job has the opportunity of - 3 days of remote work per week.
